Oh haha I loved reading this one! Your description of the process of having your RB seemingly die and then resurrect again reminds me of the couple of times I have been fiddling around with my RB and trying to figure it out.

"Just when I think, Man, I’m really getting the hang of this, I’m reminded of just how much I still have to learn. It’s humbling."

Yep, I feel like every time I'm starting to feel confident, something simple like the shutter not firing and then realizing that the dark slide is in, always keeps my ego in check.

Also totally resonate with your sentiment about it being hard to grow because you have to do things badly. I think a lot of my 20s was trying to figure that out and only starting to lean into doing things badly!

This was a wonderful read. Can‘t wait to read the others. I love the photo of her. The light is just amazing. And I hear ya... analogue photography and my impatience can create real struggle sometimes...
